The Ukrainian Armed Forces Are Pushing Back the Russians, Clearing a Strip of 5-15 Km From the Left Bank of the Dnieper

The Ukrainian military is knocking out the enemy from the south of Ukraine. The goal of the Defense Forces is to clear the strip from the left bank for at least 10-15 km.

“We continue to knock out the enemy so that the strip from the left bank (of the Dnieper – ed.) at least 10-15 km away is completely cleared of them,” she said.

According to her, this will critically reduce the number of shellings on the right bank, and it will be easier for residents of settlements along the coast.

Movement of Russian troops in southern Ukraine

Earlier, Gumenyuk said that after the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station on June 6, Russian troops retreated 5-15 km from the Dnieper, but they continued shelling Kherson, and the Russian Federation carried out attacks even during the evacuation of people from the flooded city.

Already at the end of June, during a briefing, Gumenyuk stated that the occupiers were gradually returning to the same positions in the Kherson region that they left after the flood caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric station.

Let us remind you that the Russian military blew up the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station in the Kherson region on June 6. The destruction caused widespread flooding.
