Slovenia Joined the G7 Declaration on Security Guarantees for Ukraine


Slovenia joined the declaration of the G7 states on the support of security guarantees for Ukraine.

“I am grateful to the Government of Slovenia and personally to Prime Minister Robert Golob for joining the G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine,” he wrote.

The President noted that Ukraine and Slovenia have common values ​​of freedom and democracy, as well as the desire for peace and justice for the entire Euro-Atlantic community.

Security guarantees for Ukraine

Recall that during the NATO summit, the leaders of the G7 countries agreed on a declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine . It implies long-term support in the field of security and the economy.

Zelensky noted that the new security guarantees provided for in the declaration would be expanded as a result of bilateral agreements with partners. Any state can join the support of Ukraine.

More than 25 countries have already supported the Declaration on Security Guarantees for Ukraine .
