Tokayev Receives Congratulations from the Heads of Foreign States on the Occasion of Republic Day

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives congratulations from the heads of foreign states on the occasion of the Republic Day, Akorda reports.

“Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives congratulations from the heads of foreign states and heads of international organizations on the occasion of the national holiday – Republic Day,” the message says.

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan on Republic Day and wished peace and prosperity.

“Kazakhstan has achieved impressive results in the economic, social, scientific, technical and other fields, and plays an important role in international affairs. The relations of strategic partnership and alliance between our states are successfully developing,” the telegram says.

Also, the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, in his message, highly appreciated the reforms carried out on the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to build a New Kazakhstan, and also noted the meaningful and fruitful nature of his recent state visit to Astana.

“Paying great attention to the development of bilateral relations, I am ready to work with you to make joint efforts to further advance the China-Kazakhstan eternal all-round strategic partnership,” Xi Jinping writes.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in his congratulations addressed to the Head of State, stressed that Turkey, the first to recognize the independence of friendly and fraternal Kazakhstan, is observing with satisfaction the achievements made by the country in all areas over the past 30 years.

“We intend to develop and deepen our relations, which have reached the level of an expanded strategic partnership, supported by common linguistic, cultural and historical ties, for the benefit of the two peoples,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

French President Emmanuel Macron noted that he was very pleased with the dynamic development of bilateral dialogue in the year of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

“We are following with great interest the ambitious program of political, economic and social reforms that you are carrying out, and would like to assure France of its readiness to support you in their implementation,” Emmanuel Macron said in a telegram.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in his congratulatory telegram expressed his gratitude for the comprehensive development of Kazakh-Tajik relations based on strong historical ties of mutual respect and trust.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in their messages expressed confidence that the Turkmen-Kazakh strategic partnership would continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of the two peoples.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres also warmly congratulated the people of Kazakhstan and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the Republic Day.

“On this special day, the United Nations can count on all citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan to rise to the challenge, accelerate progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and build a better, fairer and friendlier world for all people,” stressed the UN Secretary General.

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Raisi, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen, President of Croatia Zoran Milanovic, President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Souza, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, President of Singapore Halima also sent their congratulations to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
